My name is Amanda Valentini & Welcome to Dolci da Valentini!
The name Dolci da Valentini translates from Italian to mean: Sweets by Valentini.
I have always enjoyed baking and cooking. I remember begging to lick the brownie batter off the wooden spoon as a kid! Cooking has become a hobby/lifestyle as I’ve moved into adulthood. But the cookie thing just sort of happened.
When my youngest turned 2, I asked a local cookier to make Moana cookies as party favors. A good friend of mine saw the cookies and loved them, then decided she was going to try to make some for an upcoming baby shower. After navigating some YouTube videos and having cookie success, she said “Amanda, you can totally do this.” I spent the entire summer reading, watching and shopping for all the cookie things I would need.
In November of 2018, my friend and I took a cookie decorating class with a local cookier and learned several other tips and tricks. One of our very good family friends saw the six cookies I decorated and said, “When you’re ready, I want to buy a dozen.” That order finally happened in February of 2019 just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Then, Dolci da Valentini took off!

Ok Amanda!!! I totally thought of you when I was looking around, but I didn’t know you had made a business out of it!!! I’m so proud of you!! For some reason, I don’t see your posts anymore(i hate how FB does that)…..I used to see them all the time!!! I loved seeing your beautiful girls grow up…especially “giuliacam”! I need them for the 28th for Sydney’s graduation at least 4 dozen!
